CCAC will be seeing some coaching adjustments for this season. Neil Jones, CCAC head coach for the past 5 years is moving to CGP and will head up the Regional and JP programs while maintaining his equipment, website and communication portfolios with the club. Additionally Neil has been tasked with organizing the Swim-a-thon and developing our minimeets for all swimmers. We look forward to Neil’s continued expertise this upcoming year.
Hyack has hired Frici Laszlo as the CCAC Head Coach. Frici is a professional coach with a lifetime experience as a former Hungarian National Team swimmer, Head Coach, and most recently the Assistant Head Coach of the Manitoba Marlins (Winnipeg). Norman Ng who has done yeoman duties for us at CGP while working with all swimmers in the club will be moving to CCAC as the Senior Assistant. Norman will work directly with Frici within the Regional/JP/Provincial groups and head up the OW Black program a well as duties with Grassroots. Norman will still be running his Trifit program at CGP as well.
Maria Medrano is also coming to CCAC with many years experience working with development swimmers, most recently with the OSC club in Edmonton. Maria will be on deck mostly with our Grassroot, ICS and Olympic Way programs.
Will Wang, former Head Coach of the Buckley Valley Otters (Smithers) has joined us as the Senior Assistant at CGP. Will will be on deck working closely with the Youth/PE/Senior groups as well as assisting with the JP groups.
Sabine Sabu who did some volunteer coaching for Hyack last year has come on board at CGP and will be working with our Grassroot programs there.

Returning for us this season at CCAC are Gaby Yeung, Sarah Kudaba, Leo Ho and for CGP will be Andrew Lennstrom, Hannah Thorlakson and Brad Reid. We have a great staff!
